Royal Terrace Hotel

By car from the East (A1) - follow the A1 round to the north of the city. At the end of the dual carriageway continue ahead along the A199, at the next roundabout take the first exit left into A1140 Portobello Rd. Continue ahead along London Rd following signs for the City Centre and Princes St. Bear left into Montrose Terrace and then take the second right into Carlton Terrace Brae. At the end of the road turn right onto Carlton Terrace and ahead into Royal Terrace, where you will find the hotel on your right. From the South/West - follow the A720 Edinburgh bypass to the south of the city, then take the A701 Burdlehouse Rd towards the City Centre. Continue ahead along Howden Hall Rd, Liberton Gardens and then Liberton Rd with the university to the left. At the roundabout bear left onto Craigmillar Park, follow signs for Waveley Station & continue straight ahead along Mayfield Gardens, Minto St, Newington Rd, South Clerk St, Nicolson St and then North Bridge. At the end of the road turn right and immediately left into Leith St. At the second roundabout take the last exit right into Royal Terrace, where you will find the hotel on your left. By train - the hotel is 1½ miles from Edinburgh Waverley Station, 5 minutes by taxi. On foot, leave the station by the Princes St exit and turn right. Continue along Waterloo Place and Regent Rd for about a mile, bear left along Regent Terrace and continue around the park into Royal Terrace, the hotel is on your right.
