The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Edinburgh Waverley station. Leave the station by the main exit and turn left onto Waverley Bridge, go straight ahead up Cockburn Street, at the top cross over Hunters Square and down into Blair Street. Turn Right at the bottom into the Cowgate continue for 250 yards to the Grassmarket. The Hotel is the first building on your right.
The Grassmarket Hotel is located in the lively cosmopolitan area of Grassmarket surrounded by bars and bistros. The hotel is traditional in décor and some rooms are accessible by stairs only. Adjoining the hotel is Biddy Mulligan's Pub where breakfast is available. The bar is open daily from 9am until 1am and serves food until late.
