The hotel is located off the A83, just 2 miles north of Tarbert between Lochgilphead and Campbeltown. The A83 is reached from the A82 Loch Lomond Road. An alternate, but rather longer route, would be to travel from Glasgow to Gourock and take the ferry to Dunoon. You can then follow the road from Dunoon to Inverary and pick up the A83. Although located some 2.5 hours from Glasgow, the drive to the castle is far from boring. Along the route you will wind your way around lochs, up and down rolling hills and pass many small picturesque towns.
