Located in a 100 year old building, The Gershwin Hotel is a culture within itself. The walls and halls shine with original pop art, including a signed original Andy Warhol Campbell's soup can. Guests and locals can relax in the Living Room club which features live music and stand up comedy several nights a week. The Hotel has a restaurant on premise; Birch Coffee. Birch specializes in Rainforest Alliance and bird-friendly coffees and teas, and serves only organic beers and wines, harvested locally when possible. The hotel is also proud to say that all of its food comes from local farmers and socially and environmentally conscious purveyors. The first floor features an art gallery, with works from emerging and established artists. Rooms are as individual as they are daring. All in all, the Gershwin offers great value 'Bohemian' style accommodation.
